What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
If you are attending the conference with friends or classmates, we encourage carpooling or using public transportation. Parking is available near the venue. We also have transportation scholarships available on a first-come first-serve basis. If the cost of transportation is a barrier to your attendance, email us with the subject line 'Travel Scholarship Request' + your name: teenwellnessconf@gmail.com
What can I bring into the event?
Just bring yourself! Everything that you need will be provided.
What is the tentative schedule of the event?
9:30-10am Attendees Arrive
10-10:50am Icebreaker + Youth Speakers
11am-12pm Breakout Sessions
12:10-1pm Lunch + Resource Tables Exploration
1:10-2pm Student-Led Panel Discussions
2-2:30pm Activation + Wrap-Up
Will I be able to choose my breakout session preferences?
Yes! We will have two tracks of breakout sessions: one geared toward middle school attendees and the other geared toward high school/college attendees.
What topics will be covered in the breakout sessions?
On the day of the conference, you will be able to choose exactly which session you want to attend. The general themes include:
–Peer Support: How to Support Friends & Maintain Healthy Relationships
–Advocacy, Policy, & Youth Voice
–Self-Care & How to Seek Help
–Yoga, Mindfulness, & Creative Expression
–Breaking Down Media Portrayals of Mental Illness
–Digital/Social Media & Mental Health
–Identity & Acceptance
–Youth Initiatives in the Community

Can anyone outside the age range of 12-25 attend the conference?
