BREAKOUT SESSION
Get Your Calm On: Move, Breathe, & Express Your Stress In this hour-long workshop, we will spend most of the time learning practical yoga and breathing exercises to do while studying, before an interview or presentation, or before bed to help calm your nerves and relieve stress. We will spend the last part of the workshop doing some expressive arts as another way to access the parts of your brain that help you to move out of your stress response and into your relaxation response. Together, we will explore how to move your body and nervous system from stress and tension toward calm, through every day, accessible tools that you can do at home. No prior experience with yoga is required. BIO Pronouns: she, her, hers Pam Lozoff holds her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, with an emphasis in non-profit management.
