Pronouns: he, him, his Walter Li is a current junior at Menlo School and a resident of Palo Alto. Walter’s passion for fighting the mental health stigma started in freshman year, after he witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of the stigma, prompting him to give a speech on stigma to his school at the end of freshman year. He has since worked closely with the Mental Health@Menlo club at his school and the CHC Teen Advisory Board. Beginning in early 2017, he became a member of the first Youth Advisory Board for SafeSpace in Menlo Park. In his free time, Walter enjoys playing the cello, drawing, and painting. |
