Caden is currently a sophomore at Woodside High School, but they have been involved in mental health advocacy and social activism since before high school began. Their personal experiences with mental illness and navigating education systems, health care, and daily stigma have inspired their passion and drive for positive, lasting change and youth empowerment, and they want nothing more than to support those around them and raise necessary awareness for all. As of right now, they work closely with organizations in their community including SafeSpace, Bring Change to Mind, and CHC, as well as their student government where they help school leadership create a more supportive and welcoming environment at Woodside for people from all backgrounds and experiences, especially regarding mental health.
