SMILE

Don't forget to SMILE every so often! Both smiling & laughing release endorphins, known as pleasure hormones, that will boost your mood. And, according to the facial feedback effect, the emotions you physically display using your facial muscles, strongly influence the emotions you feel. This facial response can apply to the phrase, "fake it 'til you make it", as even an unauthentic or "fake" smile will trigger your facial muscles & raise your spirits.

From lowering stress & anxiety, releasing endorphins, strengthening your immune system, & making you feel more confident, smiling is also proven to make you look more attractive, empathetic, & approachable. Smiling will not only benefit you & your own health, but the people around you are presented with a gift as well, every time you smile... It's contagious!
